Our Club
Please note we are not taking on new members this season as we have reached capacity. Other clubs are available in Exeter (see details below). We are still allowing one-off visitors but please get in contact with us beforehand to check if we have space.
We love playing with new people, and welcome guests and potential members to our club nights. We are however quite a competitive bunch, and if you are new to badminton, or have not played previously in a competitive club, we are probably not the right club for you.
If you are a complete beginner you should look for a 'no strings' badminton session at your nearest leisure centre. If you are not a beginner but are not ready for/interested in playing in the league then Wonford Badminton Club might be an option.
There are also other league clubs, which you can find on the Exeter & District Badminton League website. If you are keen on the location, St Leonards and Ringswell clubs play in the same hall as us but on different days.
If you are under 16, Queens Badminton Club, based in Crediton might be an option if you live in that direction. Under exceptional circumstances we accept under 16s in the adult club, provided they can play at a competitive level, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We are a members-only club. If you are interested in joining or visiting, please get in touch beforehand. Visitor fees are £7 for the evening, but there are limits to the number of visits you can have without joining (1st Sep-30th Apr).
